Description
The Claas Jaguar 900 forage harvester is a detailed replica of the original, which in reality is an impressive harvesting machine from Europe’s market-leading harvesting technology company. The model features a maize header with four driven intake discs. To ensure proper operation even on uneven terrain, the maize header is suspended on a pendulum and stabilized in the center position by a torsion spring. The maize header is also removable, revealing the implied chopping mechanism. For road transport, both outer intake discs can be folded upwards, and the entire maize header can be raised. Furthermore, the model features opening housing flaps that allow for an inspection of the technical components, such as the engine and drive belt. The striking discharge spout can be adjusted in many ways, similar to the original. An all-terrain swing axle, treaded tires, and a partially glazed driver’s cab complete the picture.
